Sorry for my absence, but the holiday's were CRAZY. Hope you all had a great start to the New Year!

Yes, I am full of hope that I will realize my dream of finally completing my novel in 2007.

I've finished chapter 14 and it turned out beautifully. I also wrote a poem for a contest, which I will probably post here soon, too.

So, I am still around, thanks for all your nice messages you left on my site.

Hello good people of DA.

Well, I thought I share my little short story, "Myridia and the Crystal Cave", with you all and hope you enjoy it as much as all the other readers on another site. It received excellent reviews and reached an "All Time Best" status.

I'm rather pleased with it myself and I only spend like 20 minutes on it. Sometimes, I feel I am just a medium and stories are being channeled through me.

Now why can't that happen when I work on my novel? LOL

Speaking of which, I'll keep this short so I can get started on chapter 14, yet again. heh

Well, I finally finished my pirate story! I must say, I'm rather satisfied by the way it turned out and I'm now inspired to write a few other short stories about Captain Morgan Varo's adventures.

What is it with pirates that is so fascinating? Hollywood glorified that era and I know that it was a harsh reality and most pirates where extremely cruel. I guess it's the freedom to do what you choose and the sense of adventure of sailing around the Spanish Main that makes them so appealing.

Well, nevertheless, I sure hope that you enjoy my story!

It's already Halloween and the year is nearing its end. Where did the time go? It's actually depressing, since I thought I would be much further along with my book. *sigh* Oh well, there's always next year. Ha - yup, you guessed it ... I'm a prograstinator galore!!!

OK, so I took a break from writing this weekend and submerged myself in a PC game - Oblivion. Boy, that is the best game I've played in ages. The world is so realistic, it's totally amazing. Needless to say ... I couldn't put it down.

Then yesterday, I had some car trouble. Thank goodness it turned out that I only needed a new battery and not a new alternator, as I first thought. *big sigh of relief*

So, I'm dressed up as one of the 3 Musketeers right now (by the way, I'm the only one dressed up at work hehehe - rebel with out a cause!) I can't wait to get home and hand out candy. The weather is really nice here in NC and I'm expecting car loads of kids.

I'm not actually in a "mortified" mood, just thought the grim reaper fits the Halloween theme hehe.

Well, if I'm not to tired after handing out candy for hours, I might just go ahead and start chapter 14. I'll also post the next chapter here soon.

So, ok, I joined DA just a few days ago and I already it!

There is soooooooooo much amazing art here, I can't get enough of it! It's rather inspiring for a Fantasy writer and Dragon lover. I've already made a few friends and I have 80 page views? Wow!

So, yeah, I'm stuck at chapter 14 of my novel. I'm still deliberating what character to use.

Well, and then I'm working on a cool pirate story for a contest. Once I'm done with that one, I'll upload it to DA as well.
